Is This A Record?

In January a special presentation was made to three members of Worthing Life Guard Corps all aged 14. Nothing unusual, except, that the presentation was for the Distinction Award, the highest award in RLSS Lifesaving. Ellie Prail aged 14 in June 2009, George Linfield-Brown aged 14 in March 2009 and Richard Lintern aged 14 in May 2009. They all passed the award in December 2009, fourteen is the lowest age that the award can be taken. They all completed their Silver Cross open water award in the sea during the summer months. A magnificent achievement and it shows the considerable dedication they have all applied. Three all passing the award at the lowest age possible, this must be a record!
