DUKE OF NORFOLK TROPHY
This trophy is presented to the affiliated group gaining the highest number of points from awards and a variety of RLSS work. The points system is as follows:-

| Rookies-achievement for those under the age of 12 The Sussex Branch will present on an annual basis a certificate to the most successful registered Rookie group who submits a return of achievement. This can include awards, competitions, assisting at talks/demos. and attendance at training modules. | 1per cand./per award | |

| As for Branch Competitions but in addition for each outside team participating, the host club receives | 10 points | |
| Patrols* | 2 per hr/per person | |
| Special aquatic-based events* | 2 per hr/per person (Min 10 points per event) |

| * Dates/Times to be signed by Club Official – only participants qualified in the necessary lifeguarding discipline should be included in submissions. Spot checks will form part of the audit procedure. |

Submissions for these latter items must be supported by documentary evidence and signed by a Club Official, and reach the Awards & Sales Officer not later than 8th January each Year.
