The Royal Life Saving Society UK, a Registered Charity, was founded in 1891 with the aims of reducing the incidence of drowning, by teaching people water safety and rescue skills.

Today the Society aims to make people Safe, In, On or Near, water. The Sussex Branch of the Royal Life Saving Society UK, was formed in 1968 to promote the aims of the Society.

Today we have many active Clubs and Groups located across both East and West Sussex excess of 300 Individual Members, with our Trainers delivering both Lifesaving and Lifeguarding training.
