Throughout the year there has been a steady trickle of CRB checks coming through. Whenever a check is carried out I get an advice letter from HQ and the maker gets the completed check back.

I would remind everyone that checks are valid for two years and then a fresh one should be made, we still do not charge for them. Clubs and other operators should be fully aware of the RLSS Child Protection Policy and if I can be of any help to Club Welfare Officers or anyone else then please give me a call.

I am really pleased to report that I have not had anything of concern ever reported through me which is exactly what it is all in place for.
