This is the next competition for all lifesavers on the 18/03/2023. It will be held at Seahaven Swim and Fitness Centre, Newhaven, 16 Chapel Street, Newhaven, BN9 9PN. The event will begin at 3.15pm and will run until approximately 6.00pm
There will be 3 events.
All competitors will complete a Staged Incident (SERC).
Seniors will then complete a 12 metre line throw and a swim and tow rescue. Competitor A will rescue competitor B in the line throw and competitor B will tow competitor A in the swim and tow.
Juniors will then complete a 10m line throw and a swim and tow rescue. Competitor A will rescue competitor B in the line throw and competitor B will tow competitor A in the swim and tow.
The swim and tow is 50m swim and 50m tow for the seniors and a 25m swim and 25m tow for the juniors using a T-shirt that is worn at the start of the rescue.

If you are able to support this event by helping as a casualty, timekeeper, recorder or equipment officer, please register your availability via email to competitions@rlss-sussex.co.uk and wjstainer@yahoo.co.uk . Each club must provide at least two casualties and one helper in order for the competition to be able to run. Please include their names when registering.
