Sussex Branch Dinner 2022

The RLSS Sussex Branch Dinner will be held on Saturday 3rd December at
The Birch Hotel,
Lewes Road,
Haywards Heath,
RH17 7SF.


Meeting at 7pm, all Sussex Branch members, partners and families are invited to the formal dinner. Dress code is smart, no jeans or trainers, ties preferred.


This year you may choose between a 3 course meal for £32, or a 2 course meal for £25. There is also a children’s menu available from £11.


Menu choices must be submitted by the end of 20th November 2022 and payment made by BACS to Horsham Life Saving Club, S/C 40-24-33 A/C 91313622 using Ref SxDin_”Surname”.

Fanned seasonal Melon with Citrus Fruits (V)
Served with a red fruit coulis and orange zest confit
Home-made Ham Hock Terrine
With a spicy tomato chutney and sourdough bread
Classic Prawn Cocktail Salad
Served with a smokey Marie Rose dressing


Main Courses

Baked Fillet of Scottish Salmon
With herb crust in a dill cream sauce
Slow Roasted Lion of Pork
With apple sauce, crackling and a cider jus
Roasted Sirloin of British Beef
With Yorkshire Pudding and red wine jus

Main Vegetarian Courses

Somerset Brie cheese and Beetroot Tart (v)
With sour cream and a green dressed salad
Moroccan Shepherds Pie (v)
Quorn Mince spiced with Moroccan spices and topped with sweet potato mash
Thai Green Vegetable Curry (v)
Traditional Thai green curry made with seasonal vegetables served rice and a naan bread

Baked Vanilla Cheesecake
With fresh strawberries and fruit coulis
Profiteroles filled with Chantilly Cream
Served with warm chocolate sauce
Warm Chocolate Brownie
Served with a rich chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream

A Haddock fillet in crispy batter served with chips and peas

Cumberland sausages, creamy mashed potato with an onion ring and gravy
Spaghetti Bolognaise
Minced Beef in a rich tomato sauce on a bed of Spaghetti
Cheese and Tomato Pizza
With a dressed salad and garlic bread slice
